ur truck scares me when i stand in front of it
Ok I finally took the time to locate as many pics I could of the mod process starting from stock. I will keep adding as I add to the truck, but hopefully there won’t be much more to see. Enjoy.
Stock photo:
Threw in 12" Kicker CVTs powered by a 1200W Hifonics Brutus Mono Block a few days after it came off the lot:
Added a nice heavy duty bed liner so the dog and loading of motorcycles would have traction:
It gets too hot in TX so I threw in the darkest tint allowable prior to a 4th of July summer fishing trip:
And while I was home I ordered a Carriage Works Billet Grille:
And a K&N 63 Series Cold Air Intake:
And made Big Daddy's 5.7 "talk dirty" to me with a dual in/dual out cat back FlowMaster 40 Series setup:
Well, I had a coupon for OEM parts and I’d been looking at the flares….so I picked those up prior to heading back to Cali since it was cheaper to get them in Texas and they were available at my local dealership:
Hated the missing fogs so added PIAA Extreme White 5452 Driving Lights and an Aries bull bar shortly after:
Then I decided to adopt more pets and opted for a Leer 100XR and added an Audiovox wireless backup camera to help me see better. The GCT state logo was added prior to attending a SoCal truck meet so I could represent even though I was in Cali:
I thought I was done modding for a bit and would just replace my stock tires. WRONG! After buying a set of take-offs, I changed my mind and kitted Big Daddy out with Bilstein 5100 adjustable front shocks, 7” BDS Performance Lift Kit, 325/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers, and 18” KMC XD Rockstars:
And he got to play in a little snow but no real offroading yet:
Lastly, I added a hitch cover with TX and some flames:
In February 2010, I also put up the GCT windshield banner I’d been driving around with for 4 months and did the center console cooler mod with tons of help. I’ll add those pictures another time though. But here is what Manny looks like as of February 20th:

Ahhh my 2010th post!!
Hey as long as the engine isn't running, you're safe....Big Daddy's only mean when you're blocking his way on the road.
I wanted my tailgate fully closed when hauling my motorcycles and didn't have them in TX at the time I was purchasing so I played it safe and got the biggest truck available on the lot. It's been the best option yet considering I started a mini-farm with all my pets and all the traveling I do.
My mom freaked when I ran over a few of them pulling into the driveway. Just had gotten it back from the shop for the lift and had no idea how huge those tires were. I can "see" better with the tow mirrors, that's why I always back into the driveway now. Plus it's more difficult seeing people/vehicles on the street when I get ready to leave with the dark tint + camper.
Thanks! Quarter panel looked so flat and long I decided to give it some more flair with the flares. Most people loved when I added the camper but it took me a while to fully appreciate it. The lift...well...I LOVE it! And I love when the guys' jaws drop at the gas station when I practically skydive out and they see it's a chick.![]()
