California Caravan to Pismo Beach - Sept 24-26

Just throwing this out there if anybody has vacation time, extra funds, and wants to caravan out to Pismo Beach, CA at the end of this month. The dates are September 24-26th. I went last year while I was still living in NorCal and got a chance to meet some of the SoCal Tundras at another meet before swinging by to meet up with Cris Payne that runs tundrastop.com.

You want to see some awesome Tundras, hit SoCal! And anybody with a lift that wants to do some playing in the sand would love Pismo. There's overnight camping on the beach and overall fun, competition, raffles, sponsors and more. It's DEFINITELY not hot like Texas and the beach is super clean with nice soft sand. People with toy haulers, atvs, utvs, dirt bikes, 5th wheel, etc. will do great.....

Anybody that wants to go but doesn't have the funds, let me know and maybe you can roll with me and Big Daddy. We don't stop for nothing but gas, so you gotta be a rough rider. I'm trying to finalize my time off to make this and would be cool to have another GCT'er represent.

That's a great area for that kind of action..surfed and off-roaded there back in the early to late 80's with a friend who lived over in morro bay..should be great weather with winds coming off the deserts..go for it tee...the older you get... the harder it gets to do things like that...

Definitely, Jigger....The truck came home in December for the lift and I decided I was moving home. I've kept the weekend open and glad Sept. meet is the week before. No more mods - trying to get another ATV this week and take it out there too.

So I'm about 95% sure to go once I get my time off approved. Gabe, Cris put in a special request but I told him you were in classes so not sure. I'd be leaving on Thursday and heading back home that Sunday morning.

Anybody else think they may be able to make it?

BUMP!! Free road trip. Trying to get more Toyotas out there but willing to have passengers. I'm 100% confirmed and going.

Nope but still ready to roll! Happy too cuz I get to work from home that week instead of flying to the client. Got that ATV after all and getting used to it before I get out there. Cris will show me the ropes in truck or on quad so I'm good. Hate that you gotta work and don't think Nece'll wanna roll that far in Precious alone but she's welcome to ride with me if she wants.

Planned my days wrong and should have taken off next Tuesday instead of this Thursday. If I can't get my flight changed to late Tues. night, then I can't go. The drive is hellacious and I have a presentation Wed. morning.
